This week’s topic is E-cigarettes and Vaping – Misconceptions, Health Effects, and Why I Care. The popularity of e-cigarettes and vaping devices has risen sharply over the past 10 years and the potential toxicology and health effects are just starting to be uncovered. Dr. Ilona Jaspers of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will address misconceptions about e-cigarettes, discuss e-cigarette components and potential toxicities, and summarize known health effects.
