Q: What is your job at Morehead? Do you have a favorite project, event, or program you have supported?
A: At Morehead, I am a Science Summer Camp and Afterschool Educator and a Science Stage Presenter. I work closely with hundreds of kids in the Chapel Hill area either during the summer or throughout the school year. As a Science Stage Presenter, I give free science-themed shows to the public. Each show is designed to be engaging and fun for all ages! My favorite event to work is Jupiter Ball, but I love my day-to-day work at Afterschool and Camp the most.
Q: Why Morehead?
A: I love working at Morehead because not only do I have the opportunity to educate young people, but I also get to work with some of the coolest people in Chapel Hill. My coworkers and the children and families we serve are like a second family to me and they make Morehead feel like a home-away-from-home.
Q: What is a fun fact about yourself?
A: After graduation, I will be serving in the Peace Corps teaching English in Costa Rica.
