Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct
At Morehead Planetarium and Science Center, we want every guest to feel welcome, safe, and inspired. To ensure a positive experience for all, we ask that everyone treat others with respect and kindness. All visitors are expected to adhere to the following expectations of behavior and conduct during their visit:
- Engage safely and respect exhibits, facility, staff, and fellow guests.
- Misuse or damage of University property is prohibited. Damages may be assessed against those responsible for such damage or misuse.
- Keep personal belongings with you and help us keep our spaces clean.
- Refrain from using foul language, causing disruptions, or behaving in ways that could be unsafe for yourself or others.
- Weapons (real or toy), alcohol, and illegal substances are not allowed on the premises.
- Adults are responsible for always supervising the children in their care.
Morehead staff are here to help make your visit fun and educational. Guests who do not follow these expectations may be asked to leave to protect the experience for everyone.
By entering Morehead or participating in our programs, guests acknowledge and accept responsibility for their conduct and safety and agree to respect all posted rules and staff directions. Morehead may refuse admission to, or may remove, a guest if that person’s conduct is deemed disorderly or if the guest fails to comply with these terms and any guest rules or security measures on the premises or at offsite Morehead events.
Thank you for helping us create a space where science comes to life for everyone!
