Donation Request
Morehead Planetarium and Science Center is happy to support our North Carolina community by donating guest passes and gift memberships to select non-profit organizations and schools.
We kindly ask that organizations seeking donations adhere to the following guidelines:
- All donation requests must be submitted online at least six (6) weeks before the event. To properly track requests and maximize efficiency, no telephone calls, facsimiles, mail, or direct email requests will be accepted.
- Due to the high volume of requests we receive, we can only honor requests from non-profit (501c3) organizations and schools within 90 miles of our campus in Chapel Hill, NC.
- Organizations that work with children and schools will receive priority.
- We can fulfill only one donation request per organization or school per calendar year.
- Inquiries about donation status are discouraged due to the high volume of requests we receive. All donation decisions are final and will be communicated according to event dates.
