About Alexandria: Alex grew up in California and graduated with a B.A. in Marine Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2016. Alex is currently a second year PhD student at Duke University studying ocean biogeochemistry and the role that marine microbes play in the ocean carbon cycle.
