Dive into the world of polymer chemistry and learn about the day-to-day life of a polymer chemist. This learning experience will take you through the basics of polymers and highlight some of the research occurring right in the Durham Community.

About our speaker: Briana Simms, a synthetic polymer chemist,  is currently a post-doctoral associate at Duke University in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Her research expertise lies in the design of novel biomaterials for applications in drug delivery and tissue regeneration.
