From Gates to Greats: Rural Science Education Engagement with the Saunders Science Scholars Program

This presentation will highlight a collaborative rural community partnership featuring Morehead Planetarium and Science Center, Gates County Schools, and local non-profit Gates County Community Partnership. Discussion will include how these partners implemented a community-wide collaborative effort that resulted in academic achievements for the students and increased family science engagement in a rural community.
