Facility Rental

Morehead’s special event facilities are available for rental by both UNC Chapel Hill departments as well as unaffiliated groups. Our facilities, which include our State Dining Room, exhibit floors, and fulldome theater provide unique settings for banquets, receptions, lectures, ceremonies, and other events.

Consistent with MPSC’s mission statement to engage the public for an improved public understanding of science, technology and health, all unaffiliated facility use reservations must include one science education activity as part of their reservation itinerary. Available activities include, but are not limited to, a private planetarium show, private science stage demonstration, private exhibit experience, a keynote speaker from MPSC’s leadership or science education team, or some other custom science education experience. This activity is built in as part of the facility use reservation, and is provided at no additional charge.
