Teacher Resources - Magnificent Matter

Chemistry Guide
This is an extremely useful online directory of chemistry resources. A great starting point for over 250 reliable and up-to-date websites.

Chemistry Collective
A great website with a virtual laboratory. Created for high school teachers looking for online chemistry activities, the Chemistry Collective is a collection of virtual labs, scenario-based learning activities and concepts tests which can be incorporated into a variety of teaching approaches as pre-labs, alternatives to textbook homework and in-class activities for individuals or teams.

Steven Spangler Demonstrations
Steve Spangler is nationally known for his terrific science demonstrations and creativity. Over the past 15 years, Steve has made over 500 television appearances as an authority on hands-on science and inquiry-based learning. His website is a terrific resource for ideas on how to teach science, particularly the pages with science demonstration videos.

American Chemical Society
The American Chemical Society’s webpage for teachers and students. Though primarily geared toward older age levels (high school and college educators/students), there are some good resources for educators who work with younger age levels as well under the "educational resources" and "science for kids" links.
