What does it mean to be alive? What do our skin and hair look like when magnified? Why do our muscles get sore during exercise? How fast does our brain work? How much energy does our body use each day? The answers to these questions and more are found in our Science Live show, “All Systems Go”!
Much like advanced rockets at NASA, our bodies need to be “all systems go” for us to do the things we need to do every day. Our nervous system runs the show, our muscular system gets us where we need to go, and our digestive system fuels us from head to toe. Without our body systems working in harmony, we would be able to do anything!
Morehead's innovative "Science LIVE!" programs allow students and teachers to interact with science in a fun, engaging way. Morehead’s “mad scientists” present live demonstrations of science principles with vivid, exciting experiments. Volunteers from the audience are invited to go "on stage" and become part of the show as "lab assistants."
