DESCRIPTION:Due to expected rainy weather conditions\, this event has been postponed. Please join us for December’s Skywatching: Geminid Meteor Showers.  \n\n\n\nMorehead Planetarium and Science Center invites you to a free skywatching event at Little River Regional Park (weather permitting). Morehead educators and CHAOS members (from Chapel Hill Astronomical & Observational Society) will bring telescopes and guide you through fun observations of stars\, planets\, moons\, nebulae and other celestial objects. Be sure to call the park office after 4pm for cloud/cancellation updates: 919-732-5505. Meet at the Play Meadow. All ages welcomed.
