We’ll discuss what has happened with the mission so far\, what is coming next\, and why this successor to the Hubble Space Telescope is being launched to a point 1 million miles from Earth.  We’ll also talk a bit about UNC Alum and Oxford\, NC native James Webb and why he was selected for the rare naming honor. \n\n\n\nSpeaker Bio: Tony Rice is a data scientist in RTP and volunteer in the NASA/JPL Ambassador program. He contributes on space topics to WRAL in Raleigh and the new Fox Weather channel.
