Learning about the Zika virus

Helen Lazear, Ph.D., a virologist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will discuss the Zika virus at a special Carolina Science Cafe on Thursday, Feb. 25, at 6 p.m. at Back Bar (behind Top of the Hill restaurant) in Chapel Hill.

Lazear will explain how the virus works and what more we can learn about the Zika virus, which has been described as a public health emergency of international concern by the World Health Organization.
