Solar System Odyssey

"Solar System Odyssey" is a character-driven adventure set in the future, in a time when humans have depleted the resources of their home planet. A business tycoon recruits our hero, Jack Larson, on a mission to discover a new home for humans to colonize.

Join Jack Larson on a wild ride through our Solar System as he looks for answers to these questions: How are the worlds of our Solar System alike? How are they different? What must those worlds have in order for humans to live there?

The journey takes Jack Larson and the audience on an exciting exploration of our cosmic neighborhood, including the icy rings of Saturn, Jupiter's volcano-ridden moon IO and the sub-zero methane lakes of Saturn's moon Titan.

Teachers: "Solar System Odyssey" is available in Spanish for your group trip! Morehead offers two options for this: The show can be presented in Spanish for the entire audience, or Morehead can provide assistive listening devices for a Spanish translation (serving up to 10 students) while the show is presented in English. If you need one of these options for your class, please discuss this with Morehead Guest Relations when you are confirming your field trip reservation. The assistive listening device option is also available for individual guests (not with a field trip group) with advance notice.

Please note that seasonal schedules change four times each year (spring, summer, fall and holiday), and some shows are not offered during every schedule.

In addition to its public shows, Morehead offers shows during the week especially for school classes and other field trip groups. These school shows do not appear on the seasonal schedule but do appear on Morehead's daily calendar.\

If seats are available, the public may purchase tickets to school shows.

However, school groups with reserved seating have first priority on any remaining seats (for example, if extra chaperons attend), so Morehead cannot guarantee that public seats will be available for school shows.
