Girl Scout Badge Workshops
In collaboration with Girl Scouts-North Carolina Coastal Pines, Morehead Planetarium and Science Center offers science education programs that are designed to help Girl Scouts in badgework and other goals.
Please note that you cannot register for these workshops directly through Morehead; you must register through your Girl Scout council.

Especially for Brownies -- Feb. 1-2, 2013
Especially for Juniors -- Oct. 12-13, 2012
This is a one-of-a-kind science adventure for Girl Scouts! Fall asleep under the stars where the weather's always perfect. Explore science in a fun, exciting environment. After participating in a “Science Live!” you’ll eat dinner, play a game and observe the night sky with telescopes… then fall asleep in the planetarium under a cloudless "sky" of beautiful stars! The next morning you'll wake up, eat breakfast, participate in a hands-on activities and watch a planetarium show before going home.

Especially for Cadettes -- February 23, 2013
Explore the night sky and deep space in a planetarium environment, launch a rocket and decorate the sky! As you complete these and more activities, you'll earn and take home your "Sky Badge."
