LEGO-palooza returns!

For eight years, the North Carolina LEGO Users Group (NC-LUG) has created amazing displays of unique LEGO scenes, from settlements in outer space to hometowns throughout America (including forts, amusement parks, city landmarks and more), for Morehead visitors to enjoy during LEGO-palooza.

This year, 2013, marks the 35th anniversary of LEGO's original "castle" model, so this year's LEGO-palooza will celebrate castles! NC-LUG members will build a large-scale LEGO castle on site throughout the weekend. Other castle models will be on display, too.

Admission to the LEGO-palooza exhibit area is free. (There may be brief waits for admission, to ensure that we do not have more people in the exhibit area than our building codes permit.) LEGO-palooza is open during these hours:

• Saturday, March 16
  11 a.m.-4 p.m.
• Sunday, March 17
  1-4 p.m.
