Scare-olina Skies returns!

posted Saturday September 14, 2013

A favorite Morehead tradition returns in October: "Scare-olina Skies," a Halloween-themed version of Morehead's classic "Carolina Skies" star show.

Morehead educator Amy Sayle describes the night sky -- stars, constellations and celestial events -- through legends from ancient cultures, featuring monsters, mayhem and madness! There are evening shows for adults and teens (with "PG-13" stories) and afternoon shows for families (with "G" stories). You'll find all the details on the "Scare-olina Skies" page.

Regular admission prices apply, and Morehead members are admitted free. Ticket sales begin approximately 30 minutes before show time. Costumes are optional, of course. (No full-face masks, please -- we like to see your smile, and it's hard to see the stars on the dome if your face is covered!)
